Uber Fires 20 Employees Following a Sexual Assault Investigation

Recently, Uber has received many allegations including sexual assault, wage theft, and spying on competitors. Following a lengthy internal investigation into over 200 sexual assault and other workplace misconduct claims, Uber has fired 20 employees who were allegedly involved in illegal discriminatory activities. 40 additional employees were ordered to take additional counseling and training. The Latest in Fox News Discrimination Cases: Stalking Accusations

Since the CEO of Fox News, Roger Ailes, left last year, there have been a slew of discrimination allegations against the news channel. Roger Ailes left after being sued for sexual harassment. Earlier this year, news host Bill O’Reilly was fired after sexual harassment charges were filed on him. Now, former Fox News employee Andrea Tantaros is pressing charges against the news provider, who allegedly stalked her on social media after she was fired by the company following sexual harassment claims she made against male employees. Experiment Reveals How Women Are Harassed in the Workplace

A former worker at an employment service firm recently tweeted details of an accidental experiment he carried out with one of his coworkers. In the last week, the tweets have gone viral online as an example of how women are harmed by workplace sexism. The experiment involved the employee swapping email signatures with one of his female colleagues. According to the employee, his boss had complained the female coworker spent too much time resolving issues for clients.
